Tom:

I measured my S. V axles (disc wheel hub still mounted) and the max.
diameter of the taper measured just outside the bearing is 1.180 inches.
(The outside hole in the hub I couldn't measure well, since still
installed, but seems very close to 1.125 inches) Hope this helps!
