I just received word of another "mystery" car turning up, which will be
offered for sale at the Big 3 swap meet at San Diego's Jack Murphy Stadium on
Feb 15 & 16.
I have not seen the car, but am told that the engine runs, it has "some
rust", and that the left rear brake cylinder has a bad leak.
Our British friends define "some rust" as not being so bad that very much has
fallen off yet. We Southern Californians figure that means a scratch mark
has started to oxidize. I guess that there isn't much to do but check it out
and see what the present owner's standards are. And, no, I don't plan to buy
it.
I will look at it Saturday morning, so if anyone wants more information, give
me a yell.
