Thanks for the responses I received. It appears that I have a '77
Warner SR-4 transmission (the tunnel has been modified to make fit)
     and a 170cu (2800cc) V6 engine - No. UX ML73659.

I have removed the engine and transmission from my V6 Series V. The
problem with the transmission seems to be the front bearing - only 5
balls left. Here is the frustrating part - I want to order parts for
this thing, but I have no idea what engine or transmission I have. I
went to the local auto stores - Pep Boys, NAPA, etc and they can only
give me parts if I tell them the make and model of the car it came
from. I have no idea. It is a Ford V6 with manual Ford 4 speed tranny.
Some of the bolts appear to be metric. Lots of 10mm and 17mm. I think
it came from a Capri. Does anyone have any idea how I can identify
these? Here are some of the numbers I copied from the transmission
     housing:

     7006-AA
     77-ET
     GF
     G24525
     78ET-7A039-AA

     Pleeeese Help!!!

Sorry, I don't have the engine no's, but I can get them tomorrow.
