Referring to Tiger Tom's rotary-powered '69 Fastback, a.k.a. the "Roto
Rooter," Jon A. wrote:
"Unfortunately, the car was damaged at a toll booth on the PA turnpike -
some idiot in a beat up Volare with no brakes rear-ended it as the Alpine
was entering the toll booth. Nobody hurt, but serious sheet metal damage to
the Alpine. I believe Tom sold it shortly thereafter, and I personally
haven't heard of it since. I hope it's still around - it really is a
WONDERFUL car to drive!"

I saw the car four years ago in the West Virginia garage of the gentleman
who purchased it. It was being lovingly restored and should be back on the
road by now.

grandma in a Chrysler Imperial (Is there something about the fastback's
back side that says 'hit me'?)
