I bought this Alpine in 1978. I drove it as my only car from '78-'84. In
1984 I bought a new car. The Alpine was used only occasionally from '84-'94.
About 1980 the engine was rebuilt. About 1983 the transmission was rebuilt.
They were both rebuilt by Action Auto Service in Cupertino, Ca. In 1995 a
tree branch fell on the rear right fender/taillight and slightly damaged it.
It needs a new paint job. The hardtop is in good condition. Since then it
has been in our garage patiently waiting repairs.
As my life has become more and more complicated, (school, marriage,
children, children's school, animals (animal's school), work, old house,
etc...). I have had less and less time/energy/money to devote to my beloved
Alpine. I am thinking about finding it a new home.
Any responses???
