Just make sure your vacuum brake booster is not defective - if it is it will suck the fluid out of the brake system and pump it into the intake manifold and make one helluva mess of both systems - the brakes and the intakes!  I had to disconnect the vacuum booster completely from the brake system and run with purely manual brake pressure.  It worked OK.  Just needed a little more pressure on the brake pedal.  But it stopped the blue smoke and the stalling!
