Does anyone have a copy of "The Theory and Practice of Cylinder Head
Modification," by D. Vizard? I would like copies of the pages that detail the
shape and size of the modifications for the Alpine heads. ANyone know of any
other books that list modifications for Alpine heads? Thank you. Tom

Got the BAM article today! Thanks! Seems like a lot of work to add a
bit over 10% to the displacement!!! I think that a good head porting,
carb work and 5 spd will do a lot more, for a lot less work. My buddy in
OKC is very busy doing Formula Ford & Winson Cup stuff right now, but
he's willing to try some work on a Alpine head. I should have one down
to him soon, but it'll be some time before we'll be able to get around
to it. I gave him a complete Continental MK VIII 4.6l 4V head about six
months ago, and he still hasn't been about to get to that yet! Finally
saw the finny amber lens in the March TE/AE calendar photo, pretty
cool... - Jeff
