Early Gear Shifter Knobs

  OFFICE MEMO Early Gear Shifter Knobs Date:

I now have two non-Alpine early mushroom style gear shifter knobs in my
collection. One is an off white and another is grey. Does anyone know which
Rootes cars used which color knob? Or are they just different due to ageing?
