Well, I'm getting ready to put Dunlop Bolt on wire wheels
on the Series II after finally finding some lugnuts and
centre caps. Look out Chuck !!
The rims are 5J X 13 and as I mentioned in a previous post,
I will have to machine the balancing lugs off the rear drums
in order to fit the rear wheels without spacers. Before I buy 4 new
tires, I would appreciate any suggestions on what tire size I
should use. The car is fairly stock so a radical change is not
on the cards. The size I am considering is 175-70-13. I'm running with
stock tires (5.90 X 13) now with an O/D and a 3.89 rear end so my speedo
is about right in KMH rather than MPH which is OK in metric Canada!!
