Drums are fully interchangable among all years.
Also, the early drums can be milled, then rebalanced.
Spacers can be added to allow for clearance of aftermarket wheels, but I
found
that for my minilite replica wheels, the required spacers took too much
of the thread
engagement of the lug nuts.
I milled a my early drums .100 inch, then checked the balance.
They did'nt need to be balanced, so I did not.
Everything worked great.
