Yes, I've got Spax on my '69 Imp Sport. Carsten was concerned about
fitting shocks that were too hard. Spax are adjustable and the lowest
setting felt to me on a bounce test to be softer than the original type.
I've got mine set about midway along the range and it's quite firm.

This leads on to a question. For some time my Imp has suffered rather
badly from lift off oversteer. Now that may be de rigueur for Porsches,
but not Imps. No other Imp I've ever driven suffers the same way. It
seems to be worse since I fitted the Spax shocks and Monte Carlo springs
(factory-spec lowered springs).

At first I thought I had the adjustment wrong on the shocks, but at the
weekend I noticed that I appear to have negative camber on my left rear
wheel and neutral camber on my right rear wheel. A quick check with a
spirit level confirmed there is a difference. Now I don't know much
about this subject, but I figure this isn't good.

Any thoughts on what my problem might be?

The possibility of a buckled chassis has occurred to me. I checked
different parts of the floorpan left to right with a straight edge and
it all seemed symmetrical.
