Broken Handle

Beutiful day in Pennsylvania for top down driving. After a short drive, I
stoped to check under the hood. When I pulled on the hood release, the "T"
handle broke. Does anyone know how to remove the handle. Is it threaded on
or molded onto the rod? Are there replacements?
