the front 2 cylinders in a V-type and 
the front single cylinder in any in-line 
engine shows more cylinder wall wear

equal.(like not throwing a rod, etc.) 
This sometimes meant that one of our 
customer's could have gotten by with 
just a CK-10 hone job with std. overbore 
for all the other cylinders: the extra 
wear on the front(s) meant the engine 
would have to be bored .020"-.030" over 
on the first rebuild.
