Upon further inspection, what has happened with my overheating, oil in
water story is this:
1) One jet adjuster backed itself out of my one of my Stromberg CD 150's,
thereby the engine started "missing"
2) The gas poured down my oil encrusted 1725 engine (via elcectronic fuel
pump) onto the asphalt parking lot. I poured what little water I had on
the radiator to cool it down.
3) When I looked at the puddle, I saw "oil" and water on the ground. The
oil was old crust oil, gas, and disolved asphalt - hence the rub it on my
fingers and get black sticky tar.
4) I didn't figure this out till after I got home and sent the 1st email,
went back and found the flattened needle jet assembly (rest in peace).
So, would the gradual backing out of the needle jet aduster account for my
car running hot at speed or do I STILL have a temp problem?
