1:1 ratio, question

A one to one ratio? There are months I would consider that a tremendous
payback. But there are other ways to measure the worth of the precious
moments of driving your Alpine. Mine is a Series III with nice paint and
all the chrome redone, so I get lots of payback in "car envy." It seems
that anyone who can roll down a window has a Sunbeam story to tell. Last
night a deputy sheriff stopped me in a grocery store parking lot just to
chat.

Recently, my wife the accountant added up all the expenses of buying and
fixing the car over the nine years we've had it. $10,800. And that's
nowhere near stock and nowhere near done. My hat is off to those of you
who do it right--I'm just trying to keep it on the road.

The list serv has been very educational. I just put in a new radiator at
exactly the time all the discussion was going on about overheating--and it
fixed my problem.

But I still have another problem:

My SV engine runs great until it is warm, and then it misses at idle and at
cruising speed if I try to increase revs slowly. If I accelerate at all
aggressively, it does fine. Suggestions?
