No, the 1725 has a different crank arangement, that seems to need
more mass on the opposite side of the crank.

This IMHO is becuase the 1725 crank is not as stout, and is not
symetrical like the 3 main crank.

The early "3 main" setup is more like a pully, in that there is almost
no mass and no elastomer ring.

The later "5 main" setup is a full harmonic balance with elastomer ring.

I would say that you could use a "5 main balance" on a "3 main motor",
but not vice versa, even though they will both fit.

Not having the added mass on the cast iron 5 main crank, could
eventually crack it.
