        I also purchased a complete bar front Rick at SS a few years back
to repair mine. In order to remove the bar, I used a ball joint seperator
and beat on it with a BFH. The damn thing didn't budge. I then
reassemble everything and drove it to a local suspension shop and asked
them to replace it. I figured I would have to break down and spend the
big bucks. They put a chatter gun up to the ball joints and vibrated the
things off. Only cost me $15 to have them replace the bar. What a deal!
It would have cost far more in psychotherapy or dented sheet metal had I
continued to beat my head against the #$%#ing ball joints.
