Should the normal piston travel allow any part of the piston in my clutch
slave cylinder to come out past the cylinder bore? My old one traveled to
expose about 3/8 inch of the piston skirt . My new piston did too, but it
came out just far enough to expose the rubber ring and PSSSSSSSSSSSS I took
a brake fluid shower. I think I can adjust this by adjusting the pedal
height via the using second hole in the clutch pedal which would appear to
push the master cylinder in less? Or move the slave cylinder to mount to
the rear of the car on the mounting tabs (as TEMBOR said). Was this just a
DPO installation error that I recreated by following his lead and
installing it like it was when I took it off?
Thanks,
Chris
