Per the oil in the tubes: You Betcha. Get used to it. I believe the
insert that is that tube is emersed in an oil galley in the head. Not
exactly positive on that since I never removed the tubes, but series IV
always collected oil there, and ALL of the Alpines I saw this last
weekend at a local ABFM had oil in them too. It was kind of nostalgic
for me to see that again after 20 years....(Getting misty eyed.)
