I can do the chasing up down to the final order stage, when they'll have
them ready and you'll probably be able to the final bit by calling them in
the middle of the night and giving them credit card number or such.

PS. we are in Australia here, what's smog control? The last thing I heard
was that you could be pulled over if "a substantial amount of smoke can be
seen to come from the exhaust for a period exceeding 5 seconds after take
off". And in the eighties the local car manufacturer Holden got past
exhaust emission levels on new cars by having a pump which forced fresh air
into the exhaust. But I will check and make sure. The US rules did kill
many classic cars though but any cars that you got with smog controls were
still often available here in their more powerful forms, but reduced numbers.
