Need some help!
My series V has the warning light on all the time. All the vital signs are that
the alternator is working properly. I found that this mysteries relays called
"warning light simulator" had a very loose connection. So is this the culprit??
Ordered a new one. The outside looked the same, but said LUCAS "Warning
flasher". I was somewhat suspecious. I checked with the vendor, who said it was
the relays I needed. SoI did install this unit...didn't do the trick. Took
both apart, they looked similar, but not the same. The new flasher has one wire
wound as a coil around the main body, all else is about the same.
Does anyone know more about this?? Please let me know what is wrong.
