The Austin-Healey Club of Oregon is holding a raffle for 4 chrome wire
wheels of your choice* from British Wire Wheel. Tickets are just $5 each,
and only 400 will be sold. The proceeds are going toward the
Austin-Healey West Coast Meet to be held in July 1998 at the Kah-Nee-Ta
Resort in Oregon. The drawing for the winner will be held December 6,
1997. Obviously, you don't have to be present to win.
Here's how the ordering of tickets works. Send me an e-mail
<sypr(at)teleport.com> stating how many tickets you want. I'll hold those
aside. When I receive your check made payable to AHCO (or Austin Healey
Club of Oregon), I'll fill in your name, address and phone number from
the check onto the tickets and enter them in the drawing. I'll also
photocopy the filled-in tickets and send the copy to you as a proof of
purchase.
Half of the tickets are already sold, so don't delay. If you buy 4 for
$20, your odds of winning improve to just 1 on 100. That's about the same
as you spend for one tank of gas and you might win $1,000 worth of new
wheels.
*The winner receives a certificate good for the wheels of their choice
from British Wire Wheel, up to $1,000 total retail value. Shipping costs
and taxes (if any) are not included in the prize.
