* indicates newer hypoid type differential carrier all else were spiral
bevel.

Any Rootes carrier will fit in the alpine differential, but you must find
the
appropriate axle splines for the carrier that you use. "IE 17 or 25
spline"

The higher numerical axles 4.55 and up were for 15 inch wheel cars.
The really high numerical ratios are overdrive 15 inch wheels.

There were some even higher ratios used, but 5.22 is the highest I could
refference.
