After lurking for a month or so, and reading nearly the entire List

which mirrors the "Desktop" I use to keep all my Alpine notes, etc.
collected (including things I've grabbed from elsewhere). No pictures of
my own beast yet since they're in the middle of a partially-used film
roll, and every time I think of finishing the roll I notice that the car
needs washing first, etc... Some day... I have a bunch of questions, of
course, but for now see Questions I Have and later I'll ask some of them
here.
