(Too?) Cool Running

All specs I read indicate that 170F is the normal running
temperature but my Temp gauge pointer never gets beyond half the
distance between 90 and 170, a little higher when we had a "heat wave"
in August. The car has shown no signs of overheating. The rad was "done"
mid-summer.
