Mine is located on the passsenger side. If it was unused and only painted over,
I doubt it was an antenna hole. The antenna hole on mine is about 3/4" across
and could not be painted over.

Subject: Radio Antenna Location
This question is also posed on Jerome's Sunbeam Pages at
http://www.tgx.com/bridge/sunbeam/section/queries.htm
and I post it here to keep the answers available to the List.
There is a driver's-side hole in the body of my Alpine that looks
like a long painted-over (i.e., unused) hole for an antenna mount. I've
also seen other Alpines with a passenger-front antenna. Which was the
original location?
