Alpine for sale. I love my Series II but too many projects not enough
$$, well you know the syndrome. It's my daily driver but needs some
repairs. 1962 California car, stored inside inoperable for 15 years, no
rust, body straight, faded grey/blue color inside & out. I rebuilt all
the brakes - calipers have new pistons,seals & pads, new rear wheel
cyls, rebuilt clutch & brake master, clutch slave, DOT 5 fluid. New
water pump, fuel pump kit, Has factory aluminum hardtop which has new
back glass and gaskets, new soft top in box, new 165/70 Michelin MX-4
tires. Everything works except brake lights (switch works, just no
power to rears). This car is a very strong runner, looks ok by my
standards.
Needs rear end (whines), needs trans (still has non synch trans) it
pops out of gears, needs clutch I think, it doesn't slip but engages at
1" from top. Needs dash covering and interior panels, missing all
Sunbeam lettering and Alpine scripts. Other than that it is a really
great car.
Asking $2500.00.
