I saw a picture of the original mounting brackets for both driving
lamps and badge bars. I am going to make up one of these mounting bars
for myself this winter. The main mounting bar fits behind, and parallel
to, the front bumper. This bar is a flat plate of steel that is the same
width and thickness as the brackets that hold the bumpers to the car. On
either end of this long plate you will need to make the same offsets as on
the bumper brackets. Screwed onto this mounting bracket are flat plates
that angle out between the bumper and the valence and have a flat ledge on
the top that the driving lights can be bolted into.
Brackets are screwed onto the plate
and the lamps attach to the top of
brackets on the flat step.

This portion here in the center follows the
curve of the bumper.
A badge bar can be mounted onto another set of brackets that sits in
between the two driving lamp brackets, or the individual badges can be
mounted onto their own individual brackets.
I hope my electronic artwork helps. If not, isn't there an artist in the
group?
