I can relate to Kurt's situation. When we started stripping my Series III
down we found the entire car was covered in a layer of filler up to 3/4"
thick in places. Back to bare metal every surface of the car looked like a
football team had run over it. And as on Dick's car, the filler hid the fact
that the bonnet and front mudguards were seriously out of alignment.
