Depending upon the compression ratio, this combo sounds very realistic
as well as practical.
With only 9/1 compression, and a cam that puts peak torque at 5000 RPM,
1.9 liters should make in the 150 BHP range.
Get the compression up to 12/1 and cam for 5500 RPM peak, and you could
make it into the 180 BHP range.
This of course is totally dependant upon having ports and valves that
allow
enough flow to make good torque at those RPMs.
I dont know how large the rover valves are, but the absolute largest
valvers that you can put in an alpine are 1.600 intake, and 1.400
exhaust.
Any larger and the valves touch.
