OK Chuck - just please don't tell me the V is a metallic turquoise
blue? Could it be the 'Nowhere Alpine' which vanished into the local
police archives last year - here in Victoria - it was 'evidence' in a
criminal investigation - so they said. Never could find out what
happened to it. Really p'd me off because I was the one who (with a
little help from a friend otherwise know as a Stanley Wonder Bar) got
the hood opened - jump started it (it ran like a Singer sewing machine
with barely a murmer) - only to have the cops come and take it away when
they were told the serial number (by the motel manager where it had been
abandoned). After all we have NAFTA now - borders mean nothing - could
it be?
Cheers, Barrie
