According to the SAOC of England, correct colors for most components
are:
Satin Black - radiator, engine block, pulley, starter, dynamo, oil
filter and base, dipstick, sump, chassis, steering box, water pump, and
gearbox
Natural metal - cylinder head, clutch housing, rocker cover, all fluid
reservoirs, heater valve, distributor housing, carbs, exhaust pipes,
springs
Gloss black - horns, vacuum chamber on servo
Crackle Silver - Zenith air cleaners
the bonnet prop is body color
