Dear Friends,

I am in the process of building a 2.8 liter Ford V6 conversion for my
1966 SV. When I purchased the car it had a 1970 Ford 302 V8 in place, but
not connected. The floor pan had been cut and the fellow selling it tried
to tell me it was a Tiger. The serial number was intact and it says it's a
SV Alpine. Most of the engine compartment parts were out of the car sitting
in the trunk. The radiator is from a Tiger and there is a LHD rack and
pinion from a Tiger there as well. My question is will the Tiger rack and
pinion steering work in the Alpine? There is no steering column and if the
rack and pinion will work I need to find a steering column for a Tiger. Any
assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
