Been there done that. I shipped a RHD Alpine to California in 1985. I
didn't convert to LHD and see no reason to. Most of the body is ready
to accept LDH parts, some are different from the RHD. If you want RHD I
would advise buying one when you get to Canada.

The RHD is a novelty and creates just that little bit more fun.

Almost every time I go out someone "cleverly" shouts "You're sitting on
the wrong side". Some of the more challenged shout "You're driving on
the wrong side on the road.". I feel compelled to correct them in that
I'm actually on the right side of the road but..... Once a cop actually
went to the trouble of telling me I was on the wrong side of the car. I
pointed out that if I sat on the other side I wouldn't be able to reach
the steering wheel. He made a noise that may have been a laugh.
