OK, it looks like my second post never made it, so here we go again....

Hiya, listers - Well, my "Brand X" MG has left for the Great White North, leaving me with an all Rootes car collection again. (except for my wife's daily car) However, the recent addition of another Humber has overfilled my parking again, so, I must put a car up for sale. So here goes:

For Sale: one barely used 1972 Plymouth Cricket, 4 door sedan, 1500 single carb and automatic trans. This car is a genuine "little old lady" car, I'm the second owner, and it has 46,000 original miles on it. Runs well, very solid body, but a little rust in the rear quarters and on one front fender. All in all, an exceptionally solid car for a northeast car. I've done the rear brakes, and replaced the head gasket. The bores don't even have a ridge, the engine is so fresh. It needs a little vinyl repair, and maybe a couple of window seals, and for some bizarre reason, the driver's sunvisor was missing when I bought it. Could use a new exhaust system. ( I have a source for a complete system for about 100 bucks) This is NOT an exciting car, but it IS a very reliable and solid car, perfect for someone looking for a first car for the teenager, or a daily driver that doesn't cost a fortune. No real rush to sell, but I'm taking offers!! The car and I are both in New Jersey, near the shore. When Bruce sings about Highway 9, this is where he's talkin' about. Red Bank or Asbury Park are the nearest major landmark towns.
