Hi Folks,
I've got a big problem. The hood on my Series V is closed shut and I
can't figure out how
I can get it opened without damaging the car. I have a rod instead of a
cable that was attached
to the hood release lever under the hood. Unfortunately, the connector
at the end of the rod
came loose and fell off the release mechanism. I can't pull the rod out
because the connector
is still attached to the rod. I thought about unbolting the hood from
the front of the car, but I
only see threads (no bolt head to grab on to). Has anyone come across
this problem? If so, how
did you get your hood opened again?
