Hi all,
I have a shiny new soft top and new cant rail seals waiting to go onto
my Series 3. The problem is the DPO has bodged the soft top to
windscreen seal. The metal strip that holds the weather strip and is
rivetted to the header rail is missing entirely. I have tried the Aussie
suppliers and wreckers without success.
Does anyone have any bright ideas for a replacement? Is there another
make of car which has a similar arrangement? Is this strip one piece of
stainless? What gauge metal? Maybe I could have one made if I knew the
dimensions.
