That S-T was a 3 litre incidentally. I think these are _extremely_ rare
now.
I've also been to the Coventry Museum of Transport since. It's full of
Rootes cars, including one of the Alpines that ran at Le Mans

Hoo boy, do I ever count myself lucky. These guys seem to change sheet
metal the way I change oil. Even the cars in museums have rust spilling
out of them. I was thinking that it would be fantastic to take my own
car over one day and drive it on British roads, but I've changed my
mind. I think it would need to be completely stripped down afterwards
lest any salt remained hidden away.
