So what is the best way to flush the coolant system in an Alpine? I was
going to install one of those flush hose connections in my system, but
then decided not to after I heard about a poor guy who blew up his heater
core from the pressure generated by the hose. At this point, I assume
simply opening the petcock and running the engine with a hose in the
radiator tank is the prefered method. I also assume that radiator flush
chemicals should be avoided to prevent cleaning out the rust that is
holding everything together. Any thoughts?
