Is anyone aware of any books covering Rootes' post-war truck range? You'd
think Graham Robson's Cars of the Rootes Group would have covered it, but
then, the title doesn't say Cars & Trucks of the Rootes Group, does it? I
realise this has limited appeal but there must be something out there!

As a Commer owner, I was keen on finding a little info myself. It took a while for them to locate, but I got a book from Amazon.com. It's out of print, but they can still locate it.
"ROOTES Commercial Vehicles", by L. Geary, covering Commer, Karrier, Tilling-Stevens, Vulcan, Talbot, Singer, Humber, Hillman, Sunbeam, and Dodge. ISBN 0 86025 448 8
Believe it or not, these names ALL played a role in the story of the Rootes Group. The book is a little thin, and the pics unorganized, but it holds quite a bit of info on the commercial vehicles produced by our favorite manufacturer.
And boy, am I in the wrong country! I'd love to get my hands on some of these!! How'd you like to show up at a car show with a Karrier or Commer car hauler, with another Rootes car on board?? Maybe someday!!!
