I dont think weve talked about alternate suspension setups yet.
Havent seen this (the swift alpine).
I'm kind of partial to an IRS suspension, but good luck fitting it on an alpine tub.
Locally, in Southern California, Dan Walters makes a very nice traction bar for tigers, that mounts to the third member and the floor boards. Very similar to an early nineties factory Camaro setup. It keeps the axle from winding up, and gives a softer ride than the shorter traction bars.
He was talking about making a few for the alpine, but.... 1) Its kind of heavy. 2) How many alpine owners have axle hop problems?

Panhard works well and definately needed for wide sticky tires, the alpine rear would work well for the welded pivot needed for the watts link, so sounds great to me. A little more complex, but worth the effort if trully nuetral handling is expected.
BTW, good topic...
