Field relay

I followed Jarrid's trouble shooting aimer's quide very positively until I found out that voltage at pin F is low, perhaps some 2 volts. Then I was about to burn the whole car (earth wire stucked into the open contacts of the solenoid. I wondered, how much smoke a Lucas system really needs to work?)

So my time was out, and now I wonder, what is the field relay in a Lucas regulator. There are 3 candidates, and there is 2 ways in each. Tomorrow in dawns at about 4 am, so I could go on trying. There is a big sports cars event at Turku, so I could get then Alpine among Maseratis, NSU's, Lancias etc.

But all in all, Jarrid's quide was very easy to go step by step. Thanks!!
