I am getting ready to give to VOA or the Salvation Army my son's '82 Volvo DL. The wiring harness is completely shot and I am in no mood to rewire the car (I hate Swedish engineering even more than English). The running gear is basically good.

Is there anything from this car that I could use on an Alpine? It has a 5 speed transmission and overdrive. Would the overdrive be adaptable?
