I also drive a SII, and have the spax adjustable shocks from SS. The markings on the box say that is is for the minx, not the alpine. This is probably ok as the higher mass of the minx would make up for the higher rate springs used on the alpine.

I dont think even the spax would offer a 2/1 damping adjustment range.

Also, believe it or not, I pulled the original shocks (1961 stamp date) out of my alpine, when I bought a replacement set from VB. he shock rubbers were deteriorated, but the damping was still great, and no leakage was present. Those armstrong shocks really seem to last.

Rex, were you aware that a repro 7/8 sway bar was available for series I to IIIs now from SS?
