I think the panhard rod would be a great addition to a well prepped alpine. Watts linkage better yet.

But before I went to all that trouble, I would spend a lot of time elsewhere on the supsension in order to get it working well and learning its quirks.

My alpine has 6 inch "minilite clones" with 205 60 HR 13 roadracing compound tires. I like the way the car handles, and its quirky torque steer. I am assuming that much of the torque steer is due to the lateral flex of the rear springs.

Were it not for that fact that both inside and outsides of the tires rub against the chassis and fenders, I dont think I would consider the panhard rod. I think I'll try derarching my springs first, and installing solid bushings in the springs and shackles.

If that doesnt work, I'll put in the panhard.
