I made an adaptor that was sandwitched between the oil pump and distributor. It is approxamtely 5/16" difference between the mach. and elec. distribs. The piece was round and had a tang that went into the oil pump and the bottom was made to have drive dogs that matched the base of the distributr and conversely the top was notched to mimic the oil pump. It is two peices so the notches and tabs could be made and the round tang is then welded into place. _ _ | |_____| |
| | This worked great, the early ser3 1600
distrib. needs |________| this part to fit on a later 1600 (ser4)
that uses a elec | | Tach. Wont fall out and it only
turns one way so it | | the tolerences don't need to be
exact. |___|
