All fine, but I'd guess that only 25% of Rootes vehicle owners world-wide use the Internet. And, for example, it wasn't until the development of a written-off vehicle database here that you could reasonably expect that the car you bought wasn't just new panels over a bent frame (why are my tires wearing like that?).

I too think it would be a great idea. For me. But, I also built a large website for my car. I may be overly pessimistic, but I have some doubts about others, like the kind of people who don't read this List (more than those who do), and join clubs and such. Why would they go to the effort if it didn't enhance A) their immediate ownership experience or B) their chances of selling the car for good money?

I would think most people who own Little BritCars would drive them whenever possible, but this is not the case either. What may seem obvious to the enthusiast (ask me about OS/2) isn't so for the casual user (ask me about Windows95).
