Fair price

A nice old gentleman sold me two stock seats and a console for
"whatever's fair." As this gentleman is a wonderful source of parts and
stories, I need to come up with a fair price and have no idea what that
might be. The seats are in good, rebuildable condition and can be used
as is for a while; no rips or tears, but a few punctures and worn out
spots. One of the frames will require a rejoining of structure (weld or
braze). Foam needs to be replace but hardware and seat diaphram (?, you
know, that rubber sheet that holds the insides in) look great.
Any valuation ideas?
Respectfully,
Mike
