I had an interesting alpine weekend.
I went to the font of my house to wash the alpine yesterday, when a gentleman about locked his brakes up while driving by.
Asked me what year it was, I said its a 61.
He said "I just moved in around the corner, and I have a 67 I am restoring".
Wow, an alpine person within a stones throw of my house.
I was a little embaressed because I had just swamped the engine compartment with water, and the car wouldnt start. Ultimately I had to pull the spark plugs, and drive the car into my garage using the starter and the "motor".
