Guy in PA recored my radiator:

- 3 core insn't 3 rows like I expected:

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : ...

instead, it ended up like so:

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :

- I also went with what the radiator guys call " hi-efficiency design" which means more fins - the fins don't 'wave' down like the old one - instead fins are flat horizontal plates about 5mils apart.

- cost was a little more than $200 w/o bargaining or shopping around.

- cooling at speed works well, drove 400 miles on NY thru-way this weekend constant 5000 w/o problems.

- also barely 'survived' 30 min stop-and-go ultimate test (Sunday 3pm Manhattan-La Guardia Airport via TriBoro Bridge at about 85F). Temp got to roughly Boiling Pt. according to Jaeger thermometer - lost some water via 7lb cap.

Latter test indicates electric fan needed - maybe a higher pressure cap (however, the thought of higher cap pressure sort of worries me - could it blow out my head gasket?)

Thanks for all your replies. SD
